Hi, and thanks for being here!
I started this blog to capture and keep available a set of 'timeless' resources that have been sent to my friends, contacts and clients over my many years as a real estate broker, and to provide news and market updates going forward. In my first chapter as a broker (from 2000-2018), I produced all original, printed material. Quarterly newsletters, periodic industry updates, postcards and event invitations were all written, designed and snail-mailed in-house. It was rewarding to never use 'canned' information when communicating to our community, and it's a commitment I would like to preserve in this new chapter as well.
Since returning to real estate in this post-pandemic, sustainability-minded world, folks are rightly more centered on online resources. But I've struggled with finding the right way forward with solely digital content for myself and the necessary evil of self-marketing. If I do a quarterly email newsletter, will my community all unsubscribe and I'll lose touch? Will they ever open and read it? I confess to hating email newsletters myself, so I wouldn't blame you. But I would be sad!
So even though blogs may be passé, what I'm aiming to do here is create a place where those who know me (or find me) can access information they need to navigate a home sale, a purchase, a relocation, downsize, estate issue... you name it. I want you to know that I can help, and to put some tools in your hands to show you how I work.
